  Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos is located in the Vasona Station Shopping Center, near the Bay Club and directly across from Netflix headquarters. The center offers ample free parking and is surrounded by family-friendly restaurants and shops. 

  We proudly serve students from Los Gatos, Campbell, and surrounding communities. Most of our students attend Los Gatos Union School District and Campbell Union School District, including:

• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos offers both in-center and online tutoring.  

  Whether attending sessions in person or online, our students receive personalized, face-to-face instruction in a supportive and engaging group environment delivered by the same caring tutors.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, the quality of instruction remains consistent across both formats. Students who are joining us online receive the same personalized learning plans and face-to-face teaching as they would at the center.

• What math classes can your Los Gatos tutors help with?

  We can help students learn and master any PreK–12 math class or topic, from counting and number sense to Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus. Our specially trained tutors also support students in our Great Foundations Program, designed for early learners.

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos?

  We offer math-only tutoring through a flat monthly membership. Most students attend 2–3 sessions per week. Following a diagnostic assessment, we design a personalized learning plan with a recommended session frequency to support your child’s goals.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos?

  No, membership pricing is the same whether students attend sessions online, in person, or through a hybrid format.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos?

  The enrollment process at Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos begins with a diagnostic assessment to identify the student’s current skill level, learning gaps, and academic goals. We use these insights to create a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques and face-to-face tutoring in an engaging group environment.  

  Using this approach, we build on what each student already knows, gradually introducing new concepts and breaking them into manageable steps while helping them develop lasting confidence and math skills.  We are also able to align with and support the math topics and areas that our students are working on in school.  

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Yes! We empower students of all skill levels to unlock their math potential.  

  Students who need help catching up receive targeted, personalized support focused on building solid math foundations and confidence they need to advance on their journey to math mastery.  

  Advanced learners benefit from enrichment programs designed to challenge their thinking and deepen their understanding, so they can stay motivated and continue to thrive.

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Campbell / Los Gatos?

  Absolutely! We welcome students from homeschool, public, and private school backgrounds throughout Los Gatos, Campbell Saratoga, and surrounding communities.

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes, our instructors make time during each session to help students with their math homework and ensure they understand the concepts they’re learning in school. 

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No, all instruction and learning takes place during sessions at the center or online. We do not assign additional homework, allowing students to focus and make progress while with us.

• Does Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos prepare students for math on standardized tests?

  Yes. We help students prepare for school-based and standardized math tests, including state assessments, placement tests, and college entrance exams including, MARS, iReady, CAASPP, NWEA MAP Math test, ACT®, SAT®, and PSAT®.  

  Our prep includes personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and strategies designed to build both math skills and test-taking confidence. 

• Do you offer a SAT or ACT test prep course?

  Yes! At Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos our SAT and ACT math test prep course prepares high school students with focused preparation to tackle the math sections with confidence.  

  Over three months, students attend two 90-minute sessions per week, working through proprietary practice materials alongside our specially trained tutors. We tailor instruction to each student's current skill level and target goals.
