• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills?

  Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low.  

  There is a flat monthly membership fee for our program, and students attend regularly, much like a gym membership.  

  We recommend students attend at least 8 times per month, as attending less frequently will slow results. However, our program gives families the flexibility to schedule sessions as they wish each month, allowing Mathnasium to fit every family's busy schedule!

• Do you accept funding from charter schools?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills proudly serves students from Cabrillo Point Academy, Elite Academy, Excel Academy, iLead Charter School, and Suncoast Charter School. 

  If your family is enrolled in another charter school, please reach out to our center to see how we can work with your student! 

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment to identify current skills, learning gaps, and academic goals.  

  This allows us to design a personalized learning plan that supports each student’s individual path to success. 

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills doesn’t follow a traditional curriculum. We use the Mathnasium Method™, a teaching approach that combines personalized, assessment-based learning plans with proven teaching techniques to help students truly understand and even enjoy math. 

  Our tutors provide face-to-face instruction in a supportive and engaging group environment, building solid foundations for math mastery while enhancing each student’s problem-solving skills and confidence. 

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Both! At Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills, we support students of all skill levels, whether they are catching up, keeping up, or ready to get ahead in math. 

  Students who are behind in math class receive caring, individualized instruction to strengthen foundational skills and boost confidence. Advanced learners benefit from enrichment programs designed to challenge their thinking and expand their mathematical understanding. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Anaheim Hills?

  Absolutely! We welcome students from homeschool, public, and private school backgrounds throughout Anaheim Hills and nearby areas. 

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes. Our tutors make time during sessions to help students with their math homework and ensure they understand the material they are covering in school. 

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All learning takes place during sessions at the center. We do not assign additional homework so students can focus on mastering math concepts while they are with us. 

• Do you prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes. We help students prepare for math portions of standardized and school-based exams, including state assessments, PSAT®, SAT®, and ACT®. Our test prep includes targeted instruction, personalized learning plans, and strategies to strengthen both math skills and test-taking confidence.

• Does Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills offer math enrichment programs?

  Yes! We offer enrichment programs for students who are ready to go beyond their school curriculum. These programs build critical thinking and problem-solving skills while deepening their understanding of advanced math topics. 

• Is there a way for me to know my student is improving while they're enrolled at Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills?

  Yes! Our center staff is always available for updates through phone, text, email, or in person Parent Conferences.  

  Progress Reports are also periodically sent out, so parents have a visual representation of how their students are progressing through their personalized learning plans.  

  Students also go through multiple reassessments during their enrollment, so that our staff can make sure that each student's learning plan is kept up to date with what every student needs at that exact time.
