  Yes, Mathnasium of Birnham Woods offers both in‑center and online tutoring. All students receive face‑to‑face instruction in a supportive small‑group environment from the same caring tutors, whether attending in‑center or online. 

• Is there a difference between online and in‑person tutoring?

  No, whether attending online or in‑center, students receive the same quality of live face‑to‑face instruction.  

  Online students receive the same personalized learning plans and caring support from our specially trained tutors as those in the center.

  Mathnasium of Birnham Woods provides premium value through a flat monthly membership and a one‑time enrolment fee. Most students attend two to three sessions per week. After a diagnostic assessment, we design a personalized learning plan with a recommended session frequency tailored to your child’s goals.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in‑center math tutoring?

  No. Membership pricing is the same whether students attend online, in‑person, or via a hybrid format. 

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment designed to help us understand their current skill level, identify learning gaps, and set academic goals, so we can create a personalized learning plan that supports their unique path to success. 

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Birnham Woods, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques to help students truly understand and even enjoy math.
