    Mathnasium of Diamond is located at 734 South Meadows Parkway, Suite 102 in Reno, NV. Our center offers ample parking and is conveniently located just off the freeway, making drop-off and pick-up easy for busy families. 

    We proudly serve students from Reno and surrounding areas. Local schools we support include:

  • Does Mathnasium of Diamond offer online tutoring?

    Yes, Mathnasium of Diamond offers online tutoring via our virtual classroom, Mathnasium@Home.    

    Students who choose to attend online receive live, face-to-face instruction in a fun and supportive group environment, guided by our same caring tutors in Reno whether they attend online or in person. 

  • Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

    No, whether attending online or in-center, all our students receive the same quality of live face-to-face instruction.    

    Online students follow the same personalized learning plans and receive the same caring support from our specially trained tutors as their peers who attend Mathnasium in person.

  • What math classes can your Reno tutors help with?

    We can help students learn and master any K–12 math class or topic! Depending on their learning needs, students come to us for support with early childhood math, including basic arithmetic, Prealgebra and Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and even some advanced subjects.  

    Our specially trained tutors follow plans that are designed around each student’s skill level, learning style, and academic goals, so they can make meaningful progress during our sessions.

    Mathnasium of Diamond provides premium value tutoring by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient monthly fee structure that keeps costs low.   

    There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly. After a diagnostic assessment, we create a personalized learning plan with a recommended session frequency tailored to your child’s goals.

    No. Membership pricing is the same whether students attend online, in person, or use a hybrid approach.

  • Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

    Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that helps us understand their current skills, learning gaps, and academic goals. This allows us to create a personalized learning plan tailored to their individual needs.

  • How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

    Mathnasium of Diamond does not follow a fixed curriculum. We use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized, assessment-based learning plans with proven teaching techniques to build solid foundations for math mastery. 

    Our tutors build on each student’s existing skills, introduce new concepts step by step, and help students develop a deep understanding of math.

  • Do you work with advanced students or students who are struggling with math?

    We support students of all skill levels.

    We do not assign additional homework. Our goal is to make the most of each session, so students can stay focused and engaged while they are with us.

  • Does Mathnasium of Diamond prepare students for math on standardized tests?

    Yes, Mathnasium of Diamond helps students get ready for math on standardized tests such as state exams, the SAT®, and ACT®.
