Jayden Tran
Lead Instructor
Jayden Tran is a freshman at the University of Nevada, Reno, and one of the first students to attend this Mathnasium location. Now, he’s proud to serve as a Lead Instructor, helping others experience the same growth and confidence he gained through the program.
Jayden is pursuing his bachelor's in biomedical engineering. Outside of school and tutoring, he enjoys working out, reading, playing video games, and spending time with friends. He’s excited to help students strengthen their math skills and enjoy the process of learning.
Boryl Nestorov
Instructor
Boryl Nestorov is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Nevada, Reno. He joined Mathnasium because of his love for math and his passion for helping others understand it. He finds it especially rewarding to see students grasp new concepts and grow in confidence.
In his free time, Boryl enjoys going to the gym and mountain biking. He hopes to pursue a career in automotive engineering and brings curiosity and focus to every session with his students.
Tara Joshi
Lead Instructor
Tara Joshi is currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno, where she is studying Mechanical Engineering. As a Lead Instructor, she enjoys watching students grow in their understanding and confidence with math. She especially loves when a concept finally “clicks” for them.
Tara brings care and patience to every student session. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with her family. She believes that helping students enjoy math is one of the most fulfilling parts of teaching.
Kyle Perlich
Instructor
Kyle Perlich joined Mathnasium in September 2023 and is currently pursuing a degree in Finance with a minor in Marketing. He enjoys sharing math strategies that help students tackle challenges with clarity and confidence.
Kyle's long-term goal is to become a pilot. When he’s not working or studying, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and flying planes. He brings focus and enthusiasm to each session and is proud to help students build a strong math foundation.
