We can help students learn and master any K–12 math class or topic, from early arithmetic through Algebra, Geometry, and beyond.

  • Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

No, the membership pricing remains the same whether students attend online, in person, or use a hybrid approach.

  • Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment to identify their current skill level, learning gaps, and academic goals. This allows us to develop a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs.

  • How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

We don’t follow a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Instead, we use the Mathnasium Method™, a teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven teaching techniques to help students transform how they think and feel about math.

Following this approach, our tutors build upon what the student already knows and introduce new concepts in a logical progression, so they can begin to truly understand and even enjoy the mathematical concepts they are learning.

  • Do you work with advanced students or students who are struggling with math?

Yes! Mathnasium of the Eastern Shore supports students of all skill levels.

Students who are behind in math class receive caring, targeted instruction to (re)build foundational skills and confidence, while advanced learners benefit from enrichment program offerings that challenge their thinking and expand their understanding.

  • Do you work with homeschooled students in the Eastern Shore?

Absolutely! We welcome students from homeschool, public, and private school backgrounds throughout Fairhope, Daphne, and the surrounding areas.

  • Do you help students with their math homework?

Yes, during each session, our tutors make time to assist students with their math homework and ensure they fully grasp the concepts they’re learning in school.

  • Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

No. All instruction and learning take place during sessions, either online or in the center. We do not assign additional homework, allowing students to stay focused and make meaningful progress during their time with us.

  • Do you prepare students for standardized tests?
