• What grade levels does Mathnasium of Flemington work with?

  We work with Pre-K through 12th grade students of all skill levels.  

  We create personalized learning plans which can include everything from early childhood math and kindergarten readiness through our Great Foundations program, to high school enrichment and test prep programs, including ACT® and SAT® preparation. 

• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Flemington offers both in-center and online tutoring.  

  Whether students attend in person or online, they receive personalized, face-to-face instruction from the same specially trained tutors in a supportive and engaging group environment. 

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, there is no difference in quality between in-person and online tutoring at Mathnasium of Flemington.  

  Students who attend online receive the same personalized learning plans, supportive environment, and live instruction from the same caring tutors they would work with in our center. 

• What math classes can your Flemington tutors help with?

  We support students across a wide range of math classes and topics, from early arithmetic to Algebra and Geometry. 

  Working with our specially trained math tutors, students build skills, improve confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of math concepts.

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Flemington?

  We offer math-only tutoring through a flat monthly enrollment fee. For best results, we recommend that most students attend 2–3 sessions per week. To determine the optimal schedule for your student, please schedule a free assessment.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Flemington?

  No. Whether students attend in person, online, or in a hybrid format, the membership fees remain the same.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Flemington?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium experience with a diagnostic assessment that identifies their current skill level, gaps in understanding, and academic goals.  

  These insights allow us to build a customized learning plan that supports long-term success in math. 

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Flemington, we use the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach that blends structure with personalized instruction. 

  We tailor each student’s learning plan to their needs and learning style, helping them build a strong foundation, improve problem-solving skills, and gain confidence as math thinkers.

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Flemington supports students at all skill levels. 

  Students who are struggling with math receive step-by-step instruction to close gaps and build confidence. Advanced learners are offered enrichment programs and personalized challenges that deepen their knowledge and expand their skills. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Flemington?

  Yes! We work with students from all educational backgrounds, including homeschool families throughout Flemington and surrounding rural communities.

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes. Our tutors set aside time during sessions to help students with their math homework, reinforcing key concepts and helping them stay on track with their schoolwork. 

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All instruction takes place during sessions with our specially trained tutors. We focus on meaningful progress in the center, without additional take-home work.

  Yes! We help students prepare for standardized and school-based math tests, including state assessments, ACT®, and SAT®. Our test prep programs include personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and strategies that build both skill and confidence.
