Joseph is a Business Administration student at Simon Fraser University with a passion for numbers and a mind for problem-solving. Originally from Surrey, Canada, he balances his academic pursuits with an active interest in golf and hockey—two sports he enjoys in his free time.
In addition to his strong foundation in mathematics, Joseph brings valuable tech skills to the Mathnasium team. He’sexcited about exploring career paths that combine technology, education, and leadership. Onkar Singh is a driven and enthusiastic student currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in General Scienceat Kwantlen Polytechnic University. With a background in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, he’s especially passionate about teaching math and supporting students in understanding core concepts.
Alongside his academic achievements, Onkar enjoys playing cricket, which showcases his team spirit and collaborative mindset. He brings that same energy and commitment to the learning centre, where he strives to create a positive, encouraging environment for every student he tutors.

Yes! Mathnasium of Ladner offers both in-centre and online tutoring. Whether they attend in person or online, all students receive personalized, face-to-face instruction from the same specially trained tutors in a supportive and engaging group environment designed to help them thrive.
No, there’s no difference in the quality of instruction between in-person and online tutoring at Mathnasium of Ladner. Students who attend online receive the same personalized learning plans, supportive group environment, and face-to-face instruction from the same caring tutors they would meet in-centre.
We support students in grades K–12 across a wide range of math topics, from early childhood math and early arithmetic to Algebra and Geometry. Our specially trained tutors also occasionally work with university students or Fire department trainees.
