  Yes, Mathnasium of Laurel offers both in-center and online tutoring. 

  All our students receive face-to-face instruction in a supportive small-group environment from the same caring tutors, whether attending in person or online. 

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, whether attending online or in person, students receive the same quality of live face-to-face instruction.  

  Students who choose to attend Mathnasium of Laurel online follow the same personalized learning plans and receive the same caring support as those who attend sessions in the center.

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Laurel?

  Mathnasium of Laurel offers premium value through a flat monthly membership and a one-time enrollment fee. Most students attend sessions two to three times per week.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

  No. Membership pricing is the same whether students attend sessions online, in person, or use a hybrid format.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment that helps us understand their current math skills, pinpoint learning gaps, and identify academic goals. We use this information to create a personalized learning plan designed to support their individual path to success. 

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Laurel, we don’t follow a fixed curriculum. We use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized, assessment-based learning plans with proven teaching techniques to build solid foundations for math mastery.
