Center Director
Andrew graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His passion for teaching brought him to Mathnasium in 2019, where he began as an instructor and quickly took on leadership roles, including heading the Mathnasium@Home program and serving as Assistant Center Director.
Now as Center Director of Mathnasium of Marana, Andrew is dedicated to helping students build strong foundations and confidence in math. Outside of the center, he enjoys gaming, hanging out with friends, photographing trains, and growing his impressive LEGO collection one brick at a time!
Eric G
Assistant Center Director
Eric is currently attending Pima Community College with plans to transfer to the University of Arizona to study Electrical Engineering. He’s passionate about math, problem-solving, and building student confidence through clear explanations and supportive instruction.
When he’s not tutoring, Eric enjoys playing classical guitar, gaming, and spending time with friends. He’s also active in Greek Life and the Pima Engineering Club. His energy and enthusiasm help make Mathnasium a welcoming and engaging place for students of all ages.

Brenda brings over 25 years of experience teaching math to her role at Mathnasium. She holds a degree in Math Education from the University of Arizona and has a deep understanding of how students grow and learn.
Passionate about building student confidence, Brenda splits her time between Mathnasium and working part-time at her church. She enjoys reading Jane Austen novels and watching their film adaptations. Her favorite getaways involve visiting her son, who is currently stationed with the Navy in San Diego.

Jack is a mathematics major at the University of Arizona with a strong appreciation for how math connects to the world around us. Whether he’s studying or working on a hands-on project, he sees how problem-solving, patterns, and logical thinking play a role in everything—from design to everyday decisions. At Mathnasium, Jack enjoys helping students make those same connections, so math feels more useful, relevant, and approachable.
When he’s not studying or working, Jack spends time on creative projects. He enjoys video games, leatherworking, sewing, and designing unique pieces by hand. His mix of analytical thinking and creativity brings a thoughtful, engaging style to his work with students.
Olivia M
Instructor
Olivia is excited to bring her math expertise to Marana! She is an expert in math up through vector calculus. She wants students to know that when it comes to math, it's best to do your best and keep an open mind because math becomes a lot more fun when you see it as a puzzle! She loves solving and figuring out difficult math problems because of the rewarding feeling when it is completed.
Outside of Mathnasium, Olivia is an avid reader. The newest book she reads is always her favorite. She is a big fan of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and her favorite memory is eating a lot of ice cream in Disneyland with her family!
