Rob Donelan
Center Director
Rob is the Center Director at Mathnasium and brings over 7 years of experience helping students make sense of math. A lifelong educator, Rob has worked as a teacher, coach, counselor, administrator, and parent. Originally from Kansas, he views math as a giant puzzle and loves when students experience the joy of figuring it out.
Rob has visited all 50 U.S. states and over 30 countries, and he’s fluent in four languages. When he’s not teaching, he enjoys gardening, sports, and solving puzzles.
Patrick Bishop
Senior Instructor
Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from George Mason University, where he specialized in bringing mathematical structures to life through 3D printing. He enjoys introducing students to the beauty of advanced math concepts in fun and accessible ways.
Patrick has worked with outreach programs and students of all ages, helping them discover the fascinating side of math. When he’s not teaching, he enjoys snowboarding and exploring the outdoors.

General Manager
Khalid is the General Manager at Mathnasium, combining a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. He has over a decade of experience as a university professor and researcher.
Khalid is passionate about education and leads with a focus on results and student growth. He creates an environment where students can build confidence and excel in math through thoughtful, structured support.
Jesse Peralta
Assistant Center Director
Jesse brings energy and a love for teaching to his role as Assistant Center Director. He especially enjoys working with 7th-grade students, a group he finds highly influential in their academic journey.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jesse enjoys snowboarding, playing soccer, and spending time with his family, including six birds, three dogs, and a fish. His favorite part of the job is seeing students become more confident in math.
Mariama McGee
Marketing Manager
Mariama is the Marketing Manager at Mathnasium and a UMBC graduate in Information Systems. She’s passionate about helping students feel empowered through personalized learning. Her favorite subject is algebra, and she finds joy in helping kids understand problem-solving strategies.
Outside of work, Mariama enjoys baking, watching the Great British Baking Show, and designing graphics. She’s a coffee lover, a travel enthusiast, and has lived in three different countries during her studies.

Charlotte Wilkins

Charlotte is a junior at Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, MD. She enjoys reading, painting, and playing video games in her free time. She loves animals and is hoping to major in Animal Science in college.
Charlotte loves teaching math the most because helping someone else finally work out a tricky math problem is incredibly rewarding.
Precalculus is her favorite subject to teach because it draws on knowledge learned in Algebra and Geometry and applies it to more challenging problems.
