You’ll find us in the Shoppes at Highland Creek shopping center, on the corner near Harris Teeter, Premier Martial Arts–Highland Creek, and Great Clips. The center offers convenient parking and easy access for families from surrounding neighborhoods.

• Does Mathnasium of North Charlotte offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of North Charlotte offers both in-center and online tutoring.  

  All our students receive face-to-face instruction in a supportive and engaging group environment from the same caring tutors, whether they attend online or in person. 

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, whether attending online or in-center, students receive the same quality of live face-to-face instruction.  

  Online students follow the same personalized learning plans and receive the same caring guidance as those who attend in person.

  Mathnasium of North Charlotte offers premium value through a flat monthly membership and a one-time enrollment fee. Most students attend two to three times per week.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

  No, membership pricing is the same whether students attend sessions online, in person, or through a hybrid schedule.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that helps us understand their current skills, knowledge gaps, and academic goals. This allows us to create a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  Mathnasium of North Charlotte doesn’t follow a traditional curriculum. We use the Mathnasium Method™, a teaching approach that combines personalized, assessment-based learning plans with proven instructional techniques to build solid foundations for math mastery. 

  Our tutors follow this approach to build on what each student already knows, introduce new concepts step by step, and help them develop a deep understanding of math. 

• Do you work with advanced students or students who are struggling with math?

  Both! We empower students of all skill levels to reach their full potential in math. 

  Students who are behind in math class receive caring, targeted instruction to strengthen foundational skills and close knowledge gaps. Advanced learners benefit from enrichment programs that challenge their thinking and broaden their understanding of math. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in North Charlotte?

  Absolutely! We work with homeschooled, public, and private school students from North Charlotte, Highland Creek, Mallard Creek, and nearby areas.

• Do you help students with their homework?

  Yes. Our tutors make time during sessions to help students with their math homework and ensure they understand the concepts being taught in school.

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All instruction and practice take place during sessions, whether online or in-center. We don’t assign additional homework, allowing students to focus fully while they’re with us.

• Does Mathnasium of North Charlotte prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes! We help students prepare for school-based and standardized math tests, including state assessments, PSAT®, SAT®, and ACT®. Our test prep programs include personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and strategies to build skills and confidence.
