Some of my favorite numbers are fractions, because they can be fun to work with! My favorite math subjects to teach are sixth and seventh-grade math. Outside of the center, I love to sing. My favorite local treats are the sipping chocolates from The Chocolate Palette in Leesburg. Sipping chocolates are rich hot chocolates made with melted chocolate!

My favorite number is 17 because it is my lucky number, St. Patrick's Day, and the day I was born! Geometry is my favorite subject to teach because I am a visual learner so I enjoy helping others conceptualize geometric concepts. Outside of the center I love to bake for my family and friends. I also like being outdoors as much as possible - snowboarding in the winter and hiking in the summer. I have a Bachelor's in Science in applied biotechnology. Before Mathnasium I worked as a microbiologist. Ask me what it's like to be a scientist!

My favorite number is 42 as it is the Answer to the Great Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything (from one of my favorite books, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy). I like to teach Algebra. One of my favorite moments in Mathnasium was seeing a student use their division skills that they just learned to solve the problem of the week that originally stumped them. I have a cat named Bubo. He is all black except for the white spots on his chest and belly, and his favorite foods are ice cream, hummus, and whipped cream. Outside of the center I like folding origami tessellations and the Mexican hot chocolate from Doppio Bunny Café.

My favorite number is 2; it was my jersey number when I hit my first homerun in 2012! I like to teach Algebra. I am a licensed teacher with a degree in Education from Roanoke College ('22) and I love working with SPED. I have a cat named Clara, after the Doctor Who companion. Outside of the center I like to write, especially writing about nature.

My favorite number is Pi, for obvious reasons. I enjoy teaching how to solve rational equations. My favorite moment in Mathnasium was when a student realized they can count by 2's by quietly saying one number to themselves, then one number out loud. Outside of the center you can find me playing ultimate frisbee, eating XXL M&M cookies from Giant, or hanging out with my dog.

My favorite number is 27. There is no real reason, it is just a number that I have liked ever since I was young. I love teaching trigonometry. I love watching students learn tough concepts after weeks of working on them. Its very fulfilling to be able to help students have breakthroughs, especially on important topics! I live near Harpers Ferry, so I don't usually get treats in Purcellville, but I love croissants from my local coffee shop. I also have a cat named Luna. She is a mix between a tabby and a tuxedo cat.

My favorite number is 17 because its my lucky number. I enjoy teaching any higher level math subject. As an instructor, it is rewarding to witness any time a student understands reasoning in groups if they once couldn’t. “What part of _ is _?” is very integral to someone’s number sense. Outside of Mathnasium, I enjoy going to the gym and watching a variety of anime. My favorite Purcellville treat is Jersey Mike’s’ #56 and really anything from Chick-fil-A. Mathnasium is a welcoming environment for any type of student, and our instructors can help with any level of math K-12.
