• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Reading offers both in-center and online tutoring. Whether they attend in person or online, all students receive personalized, face-to-face instruction from the same specially trained tutors in a supportive and engaging group environment designed to help them thrive.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, there’s no difference in quality between in-person and online tutoring at Mathnasium of Reading. Students who attend online sessions receive the same personalized learning plans, supportive group environment, and live instruction from the same caring tutors they would work with at our learning center.

• What math classes can your Reading tutors help with?

  We support students in grades K–12 across a wide range of math classes and topics, from early childhood math and early arithmetic to Algebra and Geometry.

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Reading?

  We offer math-only tutoring through a flat monthly enrollment fee with no long-term contracts. For the best results, we recommend that most students attend 2–3 sessions per week. To determine the optimal number of weekly sessions for your student, please schedule a free assessment.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Reading?

  No. Whether students attend sessions online, in person, or through a hybrid format, the membership fees remain the same.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Reading?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that helps us identify their current strengths, learning gaps, and goals. These insights allow us to create a personalized learning plan that puts them on the path to long-term success in math.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Reading, we don’t follow a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Instead, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that blends structure with personalization. Each student receives a learning plan tailored to their specific skill level, learning style, and goals.

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Reading works with students at all skill levels—whether they are catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead. 

  Students who are struggling with math benefit from step-by-step instruction to build skills and confidence, while advanced students enjoy enrichment opportunities that expand their knowledge and challenge them in new ways. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Reading?

  Yes! We support K–12 students from all educational backgrounds, including homeschooled, private, and public school students throughout Reading and the surrounding areas. 

• Do you help students with their math homework?

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?
