Matthew
Sr. Instructor
Matthew has several years of software developer experience at a startup in the home-inspection space, and have now returned to his true passion: teaching and discussing mathematics. Matthew loves teaching high school math and advanced topics. He brings a strong academic teaching background, having served as an undergraduate TA for Calculus I and Computer Science courses, as well as a graduate TA for Real Analysis I and Calculus II. He is deeply motivated to help students build genuine understanding and confidence in math.
My favorite thing about math: Math is often misunderstood as something to be memorized rather than understood. I'm passionate about changing that narrative as I firmly believes that any student can succeed in math with the right guidance, effort, and support. This philosophy strongly aligns with the Mathnasium approach - meeting students where they are and emphasizing true comprehension over rote memorization.
