  Mathnasium of South Blue Valley is located at 7951 W 160th St, Suite 515, Overland Park, KS 66223, near the intersection of 159th Street and 69S in the Bluhawk shopping complex. We are just a few doors down from TJ Maxx, with ample parking and convenient access for busy families. 

  We proudly serve students from Overland Park and Olathe, with some families visiting from Stilwell, Bucyrus, Belton, and Spring Hill. Local schools we support include:

• Does Mathnasium of South Blue Valley offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of South Blue Valley offers both in-center and online tutoring.  

  Our students receive live, face-to-face instruction in a supportive and engaging group environment, whether they attend online or in person.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, whether attending online or in center, our students receive the same quality of live, face-to-face instruction.  

  Just as they would in person, online students follow personalized learning plans and receive the same caring guidance from the tutors they’d meet in our Blue Valley center.

  We provide high-quality math-only tutoring through a monthly membership with a flat enrollment fee. Most students attend sessions two to three times per week.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

  No. Our membership pricing is the same for in-center, online, or hybrid attendance.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment so we can identify their current skill level, learning gaps, and academic goals. This helps us create a personalized learning plan to guide their progress.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of South Blue Valley, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized, assessment-based learning plans with proven teaching techniques to build solid foundations for math mastery. 

  Our tutors follow this approach to build on each student’s existing skills, introduce new concepts in logical steps, and help them succeed in math.

• Do you work with advanced students or students who are struggling with math?

  Both! We support students of all skill levels. 

  Students who are behind in math class receive personalized instruction and caring support to strengthen their foundational skills. Advanced learners benefit from enrichment programs that challenge their thinking and expand their understanding.

• Do you work with homeschooled students in South Blue Valley?

  Absolutely! We work with students from homeschool, public, and private school backgrounds throughout South Blue Valley, Olathe, and surrounding areas.

• Do you help students with their homework?

  Yes. Our tutors set aside time during each session to help students with their homework and make sure they understand the concepts they are learning in school.

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All instruction and learning take place during sessions, either online or in center. We do not assign homework so students can focus fully while they are with us.
