Instructor
Ian is an instructor at Mathnasium and a mathematics major at Ozarks Technical Community College. He enjoys exploring problem-solving strategies and guiding students to discover solutions in ways that make sense to them, helping build both understanding and confidence.
Outside the center, Ian likes playing board games and spending time with friends. His patient, thoughtful approach and enthusiasm for math make him a supportive mentor who encourages students to think independently and enjoy the learning process.

Anna is an instructor at Mathnasium and a student at Missouri State University, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Mathematics. She enjoys combining her love of numbers with her passion for teaching, helping students experience meaningful “aha” moments as concepts click.
Anna is dedicated to making math clear, engaging, and confidence-building for every learner. Outside the center, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with friends, activities that help her stay balanced and energized.

Corinne is an instructor at Mathnasium and a graduate of Logan-Rogersville High School who is currently studying Mathematics Education at Missouri State University. She is passionate about helping students strengthen skills, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of math concepts.
Corinne enjoys creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and grow. In her free time, she likes reading, longboarding, and taking walks with her puppy, activities that reflect her energetic and positive personality.
Mariah DeShaney
Instructor
Mariah is an instructor at Mathnasium and a student at Missouri State University majoring in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics with minors in Enterprise Risk Management and Insurance. She has experience tutoring elementary students through the Boys and Girls Club and her high school’s A+ program, where she discovered her passion for helping young learners succeed.
Mariah enjoys showing students that math can be approachable and rewarding with the right guidance. Outside the center, she likes running, building LEGO sets, and spending time with family, bringing the same enthusiasm and focus to her teaching.

Instructor
Kate is a sophomore at Springfield Catholic High School. She has played competitive softball for many years. She is currently taking algebra 2 and has future plans for medical school to specialize as an anesthesiologist. Her favorite math skill is factoring or long division as she finds both processes therapeutic.

Erica is currently a sophomore at Central High School in Springfield. She is in the International Baccalaureate program and excelling. In her free time, she enjoys visiting the local library, HOSA (a program for future medical professionals), cooking, and playing the guitar. She is very active is Speech and Debate - and is always looking for judges at debate tournaments.
Upon graduation from she plans to be on the pre-pharmacy track at UMKC. Her favorite math topic is the unit circle.
