  Yes, Mathnasium of Yorktown South provides both in-center and online tutoring.   

  All our students receive caring face-to-face instruction in a fun small-group environment, whether they attend in person or log in virtually.

  No, the experience is designed to be consistent across both formats.  

  Online students follow the same customized learning plans and work directly with the specially trained tutors they would meet at our Yorktown center.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

  No, the cost of membership is the same for online, in-center, or hybrid learning.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  The purpose of the diagnostic assessment is to provide insight into the student’s current skill level, learning style, and unique goals. We use these insights to create a learning plan tailored to their specific needs, so they can truly understand math and build the skills they need to advance.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Yorktown South, we do not follow a traditional curriculum. We use our proprietary approach called the Mathnasium Method™, which combines personalized learning plans with proven teaching techniques to develop solid foundations for math mastery.
