Madison is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Medical Anthropology. With several years of experience in both private tutoring and at Mathnasium, she aspires to help students build strong foundations while developing confidence in their problem-solving abilities.
She is passionate about meeting students where they are and presenting multiple pathways to understanding. Madison takes a highly individualized and collaborative approach to teaching and finds fulfillment in helping students grow not only academically, but in their confidence and independence as learners.
Vera Chiu
Owner / Center Director
Vera earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Biotechnologies from Tsinghua University and later completed a Ph.D. in Human Genetics at the University of Michigan. Her academic career included teaching undergraduate biology labs, sparking a lasting interest in education.
After a successful research career in the pharmaceutical industry, Vera was inspired by parenthood to support younger learners. As Owner and Center Director, she is passionate about helping students build number sense, confidence, and critical thinking through the Mathnasium Method™.
Grace Wang
Owner / Center Director
Grace holds both bachelor’s degrees in arts and sciences as well as an MBA from Beijing University and Fordham University. She gained early experience in teaching and education management before transitioning into a successful career in telecommunications and supply chain management.
Grace loves working with children and supporting their growth in math. As Owner and Center Director, she believes strong math skills open doors to future opportunities and is committed to helping students build confidence and discover new possibilities through learning.
