Michael Tomac

Owner
Michael has a B.S. degree in Business/Marketing from Arizona State University. He brings over 25 years’ corporate leadership experience with Fortune 500 companies coaching, teaching, and developing employees to become the best version of themselves. His passion for learning, personal development, and mentoring led him to Mathnasium and the desire to help students reach their potential, gain self-confidence, and have fun along the way! Michael brings this passion for making a difference to students within the Long Beach, Los Altos, Rancho Estates, College Estates, and El Dorado and surrounding communities. He believes that through the Mathnasium Method, students will develop strong math foundations, understand difficult concepts, and master problem-solving. As a parent of 2 school-age students, Michael realizes the need for more individualized attention and targeted instruction in math. His vision is to ensure that students have an effective, engaging, and encouraging learning experience that cultivates an intuitive understanding of math.

Seth

Lead Instructor
Seth is a graduate of CSULB with a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Mathematics and he hopes to continue studying to receive a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics. He works incredibly well with students ranging from Elementary to High School grades, he demonstrates patience and attentiveness with every student he works with.

Elaine

Instructor
Elaine recently graduated from Wilson High School and will begin the Computer Science program at University of California, Irvine. Elaine has shown great promise as an instructor and is dedicated to providing students with helpful techniques to solve problems. She reinforces difficult topics to ensure student understanding and encourages all students to do their best.
