Families will find plenty of free parking and easy access from I-5 off 64th St NE (SR-528). The center is surrounded by family-friendly shops and services, making drop-off and pick-up simple for busy parents.

  Yes, Mathnasium of Marysville offers both in-center and online tutoring. All students receive face-to-face instruction in a supportive and engaging group environment, guided by the same caring tutors whether they join us in person or online.

  No, whether students attend online or in-center, they receive the same quality of live face-to-face instruction. Online students follow the same personalized learning plans and benefit from the same level of caring guidance as students who come to the center.

Pricing varies depending on available discounts, enrollment type, commitment level, and grade level program: PreK–K (The Great Foundations Program), Elementary (The Stars Program), Middle School (The Wizards Program), and High School/College (The Elite Program).

• Does the session need to be at the same time and day each week?

  You can set up recurring sessions for the same day and time each week, but you also have the flexibility to adjust them as needed. Students can come on different days, at different times, and a varying number of times per week, as long as they stay within the session limit on their account.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Marysville?

  No, membership pricing is the same whether students attend online, in-center, or use a hybrid model.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that helps us identify their current math skills, pinpoint learning gaps, and understand their academic goals. With this information, we design a personalized learning plan to meet their unique needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  Mathnasium of Marysville does not follow a fixed curriculum. We use The Mathnasium Method™, a teaching approach that combines personalized, assessment-based learning plans with proven teaching techniques to build solid foundations for math mastery. 

  Our tutors build on what students already know, introduce new concepts step by step, and guide them toward stronger problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and confidence in math. 

• Do you work with advanced students or students who are struggling with math?

• Can the free assessment be completed online?

  Yes! If you email us at [email protected] or call (360) 862-MATH (6284) to request an online assessment, we can set up a portal for your child and follow up with a consultation call. We’ll also send a guide with login information beforehand to make sure you’re fully prepared.

• How do you ensure my child doesn’t fall behind while building their foundational skills?

  We use a balanced, personalized approach to make sure students strengthen their fundamentals while staying on track with what they’re learning in school. We regularly communicate with students and parents about current school topics and can incorporate them into the student’s learning plan, often splitting sessions between foundational skills and schoolwork support. With parent permission, we can also connect with teachers to better understand classroom topics, upcoming tests, and timelines, allowing us to focus review and preparation at just the right time so students feel confident and ready.

• What enrollment options do you offer?

  We offer flexible enrollment options to meet each student’s needs, including enrichment (1 session per week), private 1-on-1 instruction, and standard memberships (2 or 3 sessions per week). We also provide specialized SAT and test prep programs, along with seasonal summer programs.
