Marge is the Franchise Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Oxnard North. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines, and brings a strong background in human resources and entrepreneurship.
Before opening Mathnasium, Marge spent years recruiting, mentoring, and training employees across multiple industries and gained over ten years of experience as a business owner. As a parent, she understands the importance of strong math foundations and is passionate about helping local students build confidence and understanding through the Mathnasium Method.
Celestial
Instructor
Celestial is a Mathematics major at California State University, Channel Islands. She enjoys exploring mathematical concepts and helping students strengthen their understanding through practice and patience.
Celestial brings a calm, encouraging approach to instruction and enjoys making learning approachable. Outside of Mathnasium, she loves reading and cooking. A fun fact is that she was born on Groundhog Day. Her favorite math joke is: The English book asked the math book why it was so sad. Do you know what the math book said? “Because I have so many problems.”
Bryan
Instructor
Bryan earned his degree in Mathematics from California State University–Channel Islands and brings a strong analytical mindset to his work with students. He enjoys helping math feel approachable and logical, and loves seeing students gain confidence as concepts click. Outside of Mathnasium, Bryan enjoys gaming, reading, and listening to music. A lifelong Ventura County resident, he likes to joke that even math can get stuck sometimes—“Why is glue bad at math? Because it keeps getting stuck on the questions!”
Samuel
Instructor
Samuel is currently studying Marine Engineering Technology at Ventura College and plans to transfer to California State University Maritime Academy in 2028. He enjoys hands-on problem solving and staying active through swimming, skateboarding, rowing, and working on cars. An accomplished welder, Samuel hopes to become a Nuclear Propulsion Officer in the U.S. Navy. He enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for math and engineering—and likes to remind students that “there are three types of people in the world: those who can count, and those who can’t.”
Grace
Instructor
Grace is an English major with an education emphasis at California State University, Channel Islands. She enjoys working with students and helping them build confidence across subjects, including math. Outside of Mathnasium, Grace loves creative hobbies such as crocheting, drawing, reading, embroidery, and even spinning her own yarn from leftover projects. She’s the oldest of five siblings, has lived in five different states, and owns a bearded dragon named Randall. Her favorite math joke is, “Why was six afraid of seven? Because seven eight nine—after all, he needed three squared meals a day!”
