Mahoko combines her love of teaching with a passion for helping students thrive in math. Originally from Shiga, Japan, she earned her degree from Kacho College in Kyoto and has years of experience supporting children as a teacher’s aide throughout her own kids’ education.
After seeing the positive impact Mathnasium had on her children at the Novato center, Mahoko was inspired to open a center of her own. With a background in education and retail, she is excited to bring the Mathnasium Method™ to her community and help students build confidence in math.
