Kellie Gayton is the Owner of Mathnasium of Monroe and Mathnasium of Goshen, proudly bringing Orange County’s first math-only learning centers to local families.
Kellie opened Mathnasium of Goshen in 2023, and the center’s rapid growth and strong student success quickly earned her recognition from Mathnasium as a “Rising Star” an honor awarded for excellence in leadership and center development.
With 17 years of classroom experience teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Statistics at Newburgh Free Academy, Kellie has helped hundreds of students build confidence, master challenging concepts, and achieve measurable academic success. Prior to teaching, Kellie spent six years in corporate retail analyzing market trends, which strengthened her data-driven approach and commitment to measurable progress for every student.
Kellie holds a Master’s in Teaching from Mount Saint Mary College and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Elmira College. She understands not just the math itself, but how to teach it in a way that makes sense to each individual learner.
As both an experienced educator and a mother of three daughters, Kellie firmly believes that every child can succeed in math with the right instruction, encouragement, and personalized plan. She is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel capable, confident, and proud of their progress.
When she is not helping students unlock their potential, Kellie enjoys gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family.
