After years in higher education, he saw firsthand how many students lacked essential problem-solving skills. During the pandemic, he homeschooled his children, advancing them two grade levels and discovering how personalized instruction transforms learning.

I am an aerospace engineering professional with over 23 years at Raytheon, specializing in radar and missile defense systems. A graduate of the University of Virginia, I use math daily, from technical specifications to financial reports, and bring that real-world experience to Mathnasium.
I enjoy helping students connect classroom math to practical applications. Outside of work, I love auto racing, especially Formula 1, and spending time with my son, a George Mason University student, and his daughter, a third grader at Nansemond Suffolk Academy.
