• Where is Mathnasium of Woodstock located?

  Mathnasium of Woodstock is located at 2265 Towne Lake Parkway, Suite 102, Woodstock, GA 30189. We’re conveniently situated near Domino’s Pizza, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, and Buffalo Wild Wings GO, with plenty of parking available.

• Does Mathnasium of Woodstock offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of Woodstock offers online tutoring via our virtual classroom, Mathnasium@Home.  

  Students who choose to attend online receive live, face-to-face instruction in a fun and supportive group environment, guided by our same caring tutors in Woodstock whether they attend online or in person. 

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, whether attending online or in-center, all our students receive the same quality of live face-to-face instruction.  

  Online students follow the same personalized learning plans and receive the same caring support from our specially trained tutors as their peers who attend Mathnasium in person. 

• What math classes can your Woodstock tutors help with?

  We can help students learn and master any K–12 math class or topic! Depending on their learning needs, students come to us for support with early childhood math, including basic arithmetic, Prealgebra and Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and even some advanced subjects.    

  Our specially trained tutors follow plans that are designed around each student’s skill level, learning style, and academic goals, so they can make meaningful progress during our sessions. 

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Woodstock?

  Mathnasium of Woodstock provides premium value through a flat monthly membership and a one-time enrollment fee. Most students attend sessions two to three times per week.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

  There is no difference! Membership pricing is the same for all students, whether they choose to attend sessions online, in person, or use a hybrid approach. 

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  The purpose of the diagnostic assessment is to provide insight into the student’s current skill level, learning style, and unique goals. We use these insights to create a learning plan tailored to their specific needs, so they can truly understand math and build the skills they need to advance.  

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Woodstock, we do not follow a traditional curriculum. We use our proprietary approach called the Mathnasium Method™, which combines personalized learning plans with proven teaching techniques to develop solid foundations for math mastery.  

  Our approach builds on each student’s existing knowledge, addressing the gaps in their understanding and introducing new concepts gradually and in a logical sequence. We work with students to expand their mathematical thinking so they can build the skills and confidence to excel in the classroom and beyond. 

• Do you work with advanced students or students who are struggling with math?

  Both! We support students of all skill levels, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or are ready to get ahead on their math journey.  

  Students who are struggling with math receive caring, targeted instruction to (re)build foundational skills and confidence. Advanced learners enjoy personalized enrichment opportunities designed to challenge their thinking and deepen their understanding. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Woodstock?

  Certainly! We proudly welcome students from all educational backgrounds, including homeschool, public, and private schools, throughout Woodstock and the surrounding Towne Lake community. 

• Do you help students with their homework?

  Yes, our tutors will set aside time during each session to help students with their homework, ensuring they feel prepared and confident in class. 

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All learning happens during sessions at the center or online. We don’t assign additional homework, so students can stay focused and make meaningful progress while they’re with us. 

• Do you prepare students in Woodstock for standardized math tests?

  Yes. Mathnasium of Woodstock helps students prepare for school-based and standardized math tests, including state assessments, ACT®, and SAT®. Our test prep includes personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and strategies to strengthen both math skills and test-taking confidence.
